I was looking for a 12v power source for another project and found a stud at the fuse block that didn't have power. The owners manual wasn't much help so I did some testing to find out what the deal was. Turns out that this Tahoe just needed a dummy fuse swapped out to a real one to power the aux battery circuit in the 7 pin trailer harness connector. As stated in the video I would fuse it at 30A, after all it's purpose is just to charge an auxiliary battery. The fuse is known as a 'j case' fuse. http://www.amazon.com/Littelfuse-JCAS... Coming up soon for this Tahoe, you'll see the reason that I was looking for a 12v power source under the hood. Oh yes, there will be electrical stuff.
