Gotta coolant leak on my 98 C2500 pickup (5.7 V8). Instead of following my traditional way of doing this, I tried finding the leak without pressurizing the system with a pressure tester or adding dye to make it a little more DIY friendly. I got lucky this time. Since I have to drain the system, I looked at what else I could do while I'm already there and have the coolant drained. I factored in the age and mileage on the different cooling system components. I made a plan and in the next few videos I will be doing those replacements. The plan is: replace radiator, both radiator hoses, OEM hose clamps, and radiator cap replace the thermostat replace both temp sensors fill and bleed system Thanks for watching and subscribe for more DIY repairs on GM trucks and SUVs.
