This procedure was done in a 1998 Chevy pickup but is also the same for many of the Chevy/GMC trucks and SUVs of that era. In this video, I determined that all of the inputs to the module were good and came to the conclusion that the module itself was bad. Did it fix it? Watch part 2! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3oeIFB... Notes: The footage that I got from the analog graph on my meter should have been slowed down to show the changes as the truck was moving. The analog graph moves much faster then the digital readout, and was actually going to 0 and then up closer to 5v per cycle. But I think you guys will still get the gist of it. And like I said, that isn't the "correct" way to do it but not everyone is going to splurge on a lab scope. Some of the voltage tests didn't quite get to battery voltage of 12.6. This is not uncommon, especially in a 15 year old vehicle. Thanks for watching and SUBSCRIBE for more!
